The acceptance team composed of Zhoushan Putuo District Marine and Fisheries Bureau and the District Finance Bureau listened to the introduction of the project's implementation and use effects, and boarded the “Gimhae 827” squid boat to check the installation status of the LED fishing lights and to understand the usage methods. Zhang Wei, head of the Department of Finance of the Bureau of Marine and Fisheries, said that the LED fish-collection light project is also Zhoushan’s first ocean-going fishing vessel energy-saving project. Seen from the feedback situation of the “Gimhae 827” squid fishing boat, the LED-collecting fish light is The effect of reducing fuel consumption and saving production cost is obvious. According to the calculation of 30 sets of LED fish-collecting lamps for 7 months of Beitai production, nearly 15 tons of diesel is saved compared with the original metal halide collection fish lamp, and the production cost is reduced by nearly 90,000 yuan.

On April 18 last year, due to the nuclear radiation caused by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the “Gimhae 827” and “Gimhae 821” two squid fishing boats of Zhoushan Ningtai Yuanyang Fishery Company went to North Tai for exploration, and Jinhai “827” squid fishing. The boat was also equipped with a 30-inch LED fish-collection light, which was the first time in mainland China that an attempt was made to use a high-power LED fishing light on an ocean-going squid boat.

LED fishing lights have the advantages of long life, low consumption, miniaturization, directionality and no light source pollution, and can save more than 50% of fuel consumption compared with the current metal halide fishing lights. It is understood that the "Gimhae 827" squid fishing boat on a metal halide collection lamp power of about 1000 watts, and a collection of LED fishing lights power of about 345 watts. Zhang Hao said that the application of LED fish-collecting lights will play a good role in promoting the use of light-induced fisheries in the ocean and offshore areas to save energy and reduce consumption and improve production efficiency.
