Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute develops flexible LED light

Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute has used its original ACLED technology to change the materials and practices in the process. It has successfully developed a flexible LED lamp.

The ITRI improved the unique LED technology by directly integrating the circuit board and the heat sink into the soft board. The LED chip is then glued and glued together to simplify the structure and improve the traditional LED heat dissipation. The direct use of AC power makes it possible for the LED to use the power plug of the home without having to go through a large volume of electrical appliances. Even the configuration of the LED will greatly reduce the impact of lamp damage.

According to Huang Chengyang of the Institute of Electronics and Optoelectronics at the ITRI, all the LED chips of the product belong to the parallel design, so when each one is off, it will not affect the effect of other lamps.

Improve the inherent disadvantages of traditional LED, so that it is light, thin, soft, and can be bent freely. The improvement of technology will help the promotion of LED power-saving lamps, so that the green design of environmental protection can also have visual aesthetics.
