LED TV demand recovery, LED chip factory capacity utilization rate rebounded

The capacity utilization rate of the LED epitaxial plant has rebounded. Once the LED lighting demand in the second quarter is advanced, it will enter the capacity. Thanks to the LED TV customer demand recovery, and the demand for LED lighting is coming earlier than originally expected, upstream chip manufacturers are the first to benefit, including Jingdian, AUO Group's Ronda, and Yuanyuan's capacity utilization rate gradually rebounded to eight. At the level of 90%, the manufacturer estimates that there will be more than 90% of the second quarter, and the profit of the LED factory will be considerably improved.

Jingdian's February revenue of 1.185 billion Taiwan dollars, compared with 20.91% in January, Jingdian said that the current order has improved, orders in March are better than February, so the crystal can start to pick, choose to have Complementary orders allow the products to be sold, and as more applications come out in March, the shipments will be better.

Yanyuan Optoelectronics' revenue in February was NT$320 million, an increase of 18% compared with January. Yuyuan Optoelectronics said that its capacity utilization rate has reached 90%. The second quarter has the opportunity to be fully loaded, mainly because the current demand comes from large size. In the second quarter, the demand for small and medium size and LED lighting will increase. Once the capacity is fully loaded, the LED epitaxial plant will be able to adjust the product portfolio and profit opportunities will improve.

Guangfu’s revenue in February was NT$97.78 million, up 55.17% from January. As the mainland’s LED lighting subsidy is on the road, the bright monthly revenue has the chance to hit a new high in the second quarter.
