LED Light Source Accelerates Wound Healing Shanghai Establishes Medical Semiconductor Lighting Joint

On July 11, 2012 China (Shanghai) International LED Industry Technology Expo opened at Shanghai New International Expo Center. The reporter learned from the meeting that Shanghai has established a joint laboratory for medical semiconductor lighting to study the application of LED light sources in medical applications. According to research results, LED light sources can heal wounds, dilute spots, and reduce wrinkles.

However, the light source used by the photographic film machine is a fluorescent lamp, which easily causes non-uniformity and does not adjust the brightness. According to the Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center, many hospitals currently use LED light sources, which not only save energy, but also make the light source uniform, allowing doctors to “see more clearly” the condition.

Not only that, LED light source also has a significant effect on wound healing. The treatment of LED light source can accelerate cell division and shorten the healing time of wounds, especially for pregnant women with caesarean section. In terms of beauty, LED light sources have a slowing effect on acne and pigmentation, as well as reducing wrinkles.
