At present, the thinnest LED light guide plate in the industry has a thickness of about 0.8 mm, and the demand for light guide plates that are thinner and have better reflection efficiency is more and more urgent, but the current processing technology cannot meet the requirements.

In summary, the nature of LED thinness determines the market demand. However, under the current technical difficulties, the cost of producing thinner and more efficient light guide plates will increase, the efficiency will be reduced, and the cost will remain high. This is definitely not a “good factor” in the competition with CCFL. So how will the manufacturers deal with it? Can they disperse the risk through light guide plate processing? These problems are placed before the manufacturers of light guide plates. These problems will certainly be solved, but when will they be eliminated, we will continue to pay attention.
