Chinese-made LED light chain is again warned by the EU

On August 2, the European Commission's non-food rapid warning system once again issued a consumer warning to the Chinese-made LED light chain. It is understood that the warning originated from a Chinese-made "B10Cod'Events" brand LED light chain. The notified country of this case is France.

The LED light chain is used indoors; the style/model is LED 5EIN193, and the OECD Portal Category is 78000000 (electrical). Due to insufficient insulation between the live parts of the LED light chain and the accessible parts, there is a risk of electric shock and does not comply with the European Low Voltage Directive and the relevant standard EN60598.

At present, the importer/distributor has taken measures to withdraw the market, recall and destroy the product. To this end, the relevant media also recommended that domestic production and export enterprises attach great importance to this.
